Contest winners can select from the services included here when it comes time to cash out their service credits after winning one of our competitions.

 

Winners are more than welcome to purchase services outside of this list, but any won credits cannot be applied to them (they will be paid out-of-pocket at the regular price). 

Your custom discount will be applied to a single service that you choose from this list. So, if you have a $100 credit, you can apply that to proofreading OR developmental editing OR alpha reading, but not all three. 

If the service you choose costs more than the value of your credit, you will owe a balance which must be paid before work on your manuscript begins.

For example, if you have a $3,000 credit, but your manuscript is going to need $3,500 of manuscript evaluation because of its length, you will have to pay $500 for the $3,500 service. 

If you choose a service amount that has a value less than the value of your credit, you will forfeit the overage.

For example, if you have a $500 credit, but your manuscript is only going to need $400 of developmental editing, then you will not receive the $100 difference as cash or a credit for a different service, you'll simply be giving it up. 

 

To get the most out of your credits, it's recommended that you purchase one service in an amount that is over the amount of the credit just a bit (such as one cent or one dollar), so that you don't end up forfeiting any of your credits but get to use the full amount.
