Illustrations: Composite

Faster and less expensive than custom illustration, composite illustrations provide a nice balance for authors wanting to balance speed, cost, and visual appeal. 

Illustrations: Composite

1. Choose the vignette or full page option and pay the base per-illustration price (includes up to two characters and up to two items in a single setting) and upload any notes and examples that you have.
2. We'll reach out to you to schedule a call to clarify what you submitted. 
3. We'll use this information to create mockups of your illustrations so you can see what will be included and where it will be placed. 
4. You review the mockup and let us know what changes you want made, if any (shift a character to another part of the image, make someone's hair longer, etc.).
5. We apply your feedback to the initial versions of the illustrations and deliver them to you. 
6. You review them and get back to us with any requested adjustments. 
7. We apply your adjustments to the final images and then send you the source files and display files for each of the illustrations you purchased. 
8. Return to this page and leave a five-star review to share your work and let people know you have a five-star book coming out with illustrations to match! (optional)

Timeline: Generally, about 1 - 2 weeks per image. But this can change based on various factors, such as how long it takes you to submit feedback, how complicated your vision for the illustrations are, office holidays, etc. 

Composite: This method melds existing images into your custom image using watercolor-like styling to help hide the "seams" of the pieces that are brought together to create a single, cohesive image. This can drastically reduce production time and costs compared to creating custom images from a blank page.
