Alpha Reading

1. Complete your order by purchasing the amount of words you need (whatever the word count for your piece is). If you don't know or prefer to have us do a word count for you, select an invoicing option and upload your entire manuscript at checkout for us to review. 
2. We review the entire manuscript. Currently, this takes about 1 week per 30,000 words, though variables like holidays and when your payment clears alter this timeline. 
3. We deliver your professional feedback. This file will contain manuscript specs, strengths, and vulnerabilities, as well as what we recommend your next steps be. 

No editing: An alpha read is a basic review of the book to help provide overarching feedback to the author. We will not be making any direct changes to the piece. This service is meant for authors who want to get an outside, professional opinion on their piece so that they can take that feedback and apply it to their manuscript as they see fit. If you want someone to make changes on your behalf, you will need to purchase an actual editing service such as developmental editing or copyediting.
