1: Send us your publish-ready (or nearly there!) manuscript. You can attach the file on this page. 

2: A professional developmental editor will review the entire manuscript.

Beta Reading: Step-by-Step

1. Upload your finished book file (EPUB is best, since that's most likely the version your readers will be receiving). 
2. Complete the order form section regarding how long your book is and proceed to checkout and pay for your service. 
3. A professional developmental editor will read the entire book and get back to you with feedback (as shown in the example images!) regarding the what the reader response to the piece is likely to be and how to use that knowledge to your advantage in your ongoing book promotion efforts. 

Timeline: Generally about 1 week per 30,000 words, though this can change based on multiple variables (such as how long it takes you to submit the files, office holidays, how long your payment takes to be finalized, etc.). 

No editing: A beta read is a basic review of the book to help provide overarching feedback to the author. We will not be making any direct changes to the piece. This service is meant for authors who want to get an outside, professional opinion on their piece so that they can take that feedback and apply it to their marketing strategies as they see fit. If you want someone to make changes on your behalf, you will need to purchase an actual editing service such as developmental editing or copyediting.
