Typing

Typing is tough for some folks. From finger amputations to severe arthritis, if you have your manuscript handwritten or recorded on an audio file, we can type it up for you and save you time and frustration.

Having a digital copy of your work provides more versatility and security for your project. 

Typing

1. Review our terms and conditions to ensure you agree with them before making your purchase. 
2. Purchase the typing service for appropriate manuscript type and amount you need. 
3. Submit your handwritten pages or audio file to us. Instructions will be provided after your payment is completed. 
4. We will create a Google Doc containing your piece. Remember that this is not an editing service. We won't be making any deliberate changes to the piece, only typing it up for you. So if there are plot problems or missing words or spelling errors, those will generally remain. 
5. We email you the digital file so you can use it to continue your book development journey.

Timeline: Generally about 1 week per 50 pages /  180 minutes, though this can change based on multiple variables (such as how long it takes you to submit the files, office holidays, how long your payment takes to be finalized, etc.). 

Handwritten Page Count: Each sheet of a handwritten page counts as one page. So, if you have a short story written on a sheet of copy paper and you wrote on both sides, that counts as 1 page. If you send in a manuscript and it has more pages than you paid for, you will only receive a file that contains a digital version of the amount of pages you actually paid for. For example, if you pay for 5 pages and send in 7 pages, we will type the first 5 pages of those 7 since you only paid for five. 

Audio Time Count: Audio minutes are the minutes between the start of your recording and the end of your recording. We will not be engaging in any editing of your recording to remove things like redundancies or long pauses between sections. We will type up the amount of minutes you have purchased. For example, if your recording is 180 minutes long, but you only purchased 120 minutes, we will type up the first 120 minutes of those 180 since you only paid for 120.
