Typing is tough for some folks due to conditions such as severe arthritis. It may have been grueling just to get the work written out in long hand. For those who need help with typing up their handwritten documents, typing is just the right service! 

Having a digital copy of your work provides more versatility and security for your project. 

Timing: Approximately 1 week per 25 sheets, in addition to the time it takes you to ship physical pages or scan and send digital pages. 

TYPING SERVICES IN A NUTSHELL

1: Send us your handwritten pages. You can send physical copies (NOT ORIGINALS!) via postal mail or you can scan the handwritten pages and email us those images. 

2: We'll type the information into a Word document for you. 

3: We email the digital document to you and you can use it to complete the remainder of the book development process. Easy! 

Typing Services: Step-by-Step

1. Upload the scans of your handwritten pages (if applicable). 
2. Purchase the typing service for appropriate amount of sheets of paper. This would be the time to ship us copies of your physical handwritten pages (remember not to send the originals, only copies of them!). 
   
3. once your pages are received, we will create a Google Doc containing your piece. Remember that this is not an editing service. We won't be making any deliberate changes to the piece, only typing it up for you. So if there are plot problems or missing words or spelling errors, those will generally remain.
4. We email you the digital file so you can use it to continue your book development journey.

Timeline: Generally about 1 week per 50 pages, though this can change based on multiple variables (such as how long it takes you to submit the files, office holidays, how long your payment takes to be finalized, etc.). 

Handwritten Sheet Count: Each sheet of a handwritten page counts as one sheet. So, if you have a short story written on a sheet of copy paper and you wrote on both sides, that counts as 1 sheet. If you send in a manuscript and it has more sheets than you paid for, you will only receive a file that contains a digital version of the amount of sheets you actually paid for. For example, if you pay for 5 sheets and send in 7 sheets of paper, we will type the first 5 sheets of those 7 since you only paid for five.
