More robust than vignettes, but less expensive than custom illustration, photomanipulation covers provide a nice balance for authors who strive for higher quality while still wanting to keep costs lower.

The base price includes up to two characters on the cover. Additional characters can be purchased as desired.

Cover Design: Photomanipulation

  1. Upload any notes and examples that you have to help us understand the kind of cover you're looking for. We need to understand the setting, characters, and items that you plan to have appear on the cover's front side, back side, and spine (if applicable).
  2. We'll reach out to you to schedule a call to clarify and finalize what you submitted.
  3. We'll use this information to determine your final cover price. If your preference incur further costs, those will be discussed with you during the call and an invoice for the difference will be sent.
  4. Once your invoice has been paid in full, we will create an initial mockup of your book cover so you can see what will be included and where it will be placed.
  5. You review the mockup and let us know what changes you want made, if any.
  6. We apply your feedback to the initial version of the cover.
  7. We send you the initial version so that you can request adjustments as you see fit.
  8. We apply your adjustments to the final version and submit the source and display files for your print, ebook, and audiobook covers (six files in total).
  9. OPTIONAL: Return to this page and leave a five-star review to share your work and let people know you have a five-star book coming out with a cover to match!

Timeline: Generally, about 1 - 3 weeks per cover. But this can change based on various factors, such as how long it takes you to submit feedback, how complicated your vision for the cover is, office holidays, etc.

Photomanipulation: This method takes existing photographs or graphics and morphs them into something unique to your project. This can drastically reduce production time, while still providing you with a polished-looking end product.
