Preparing for Your Book Publishing Consultation

1. Write the appointment down on any physical calendars and make note of it on any digital calendars. We recommend blocking out the fifteen minutes before the meeting as well to make sure you have time to transition from another activity into your meeting. 

2. Write down your questions as they come. It can be difficult to recall many of the questions you have thought of over the course of the past few years or months. If you write them down as they come to you (on a sheet of paper on the fridge, into a text message to yourself, etc.), you can read down that list during your appointment. This makes you less likely to need a second meeting. 

3. Know what you want. Consulting about your project isn't all about what other people are doing or even what's possible. The central focus will be on what you are trying to accomplish with your specific project. Regardless of any physical, logistical, or financial limitations, what is your ultimate goal. Once we know that, we can discuss strategies for how to get you there. 

In-Person Book Consultations

These will take place at a previously agreed-upon, public location. No mileage will be charged for any locations within Tucker, Georgia's 30084 zip code. 

Virtual Book Consultations

These will take place via Google Meet. You will be sent an invite with a link to join the meeting. You can join via phone or computer as you desire. 

Telephone Book Consultations

These will take place via phone. We will schedule a time to call you and begin the appointment. 

Book Publishing Consultation Policies

• No refunds will be provided for any reason. 
• You may purchase a longer meeting by buying multiples of 30 minutes. For example, if you'd like to meet for 90 minutes, you can purchase three 30-minute appointments (3 x 30 = 90). 
• You may purchase a series of meetings by buying multiples of 30 minutes. For example, if you would like to meet weekly for one month, you can purchase 4 appointments. Just be sure to put in your order notes that this is a series and not a single meeting. 
• If you do not join the meeting within five minutes after it begins, and you do not respond to our call / email regarding your current ETA, your meeting will end and your funds will be forfeited. If you'd like to reschedule, you may purchase a new appointment. 
  
• If you reach out to us before the meeting to let us know that you need to reschedule, you may reschedule the meeting one (1) time. 
• If you fail to attend a rescheduled meeting, your funds will be forfeited. If you'd like to reschedule a second time, you may purchase a new appointment. 
• Should you decide you'd like to extend the meeting in real time, you will be asked to submit payment before the call / meeting continues any further. 
• You'll be notified that your meeting is ending about five minutes before the end of the appointment time.
• Should our consultation need to cancel and reschedule, you will be notified via email to get acceptable rescheduling dates and times.
